  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped oregano
  • 2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Flour, for dusting
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper


Combine ingredients. Form meatballs then pat with flour. Cook meatballs on medium to medium high in corn oil for approximately 5 minutes, turning half way through.
