Vacation Rentals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Kathy is in the historic city of Philadelphia with her friend, Meredith, looking for a vacation rental for an extended girl's weekend with three out-of-town friends. They'll tour three very unique homes hoping for the perfect fit.
Avoid some of the stress and excessive costs that can go with trying to secure a vacation home, particularly during peak season and on short notice, by thinking, researching and planning at least six months in advance. While this may seem excessive, keep in mind that vacation rentals -- at least, the good ones -- usually book up fast.

Philadelphia might be most famously known as the birthplace of American democracy, but you'll find it's an ideal destination for discovery as you explore its colorful neighborhoods, learn more about its rich history and delve into its spectacular sites and attractions. There are many options for entertainment, like fine dining at renowned restaurants, museums, nightlife, sporting events, boating, and touring historic monuments.

Kathy and Meredith create a wish list for the perfect sweet retreat. It should have the following things:
Accomates five people
Two bedrooms
Two bathrooms
Large living space
Close to restaurants

Kathy and Meredith checked out a houseboat at Penn's Landing. Kathy thought it would be a blast but Meredith was concerned with the size -- it only had one bedroom and one bathroom. It's priced at $275 a night.

Then, they get a tour of contemporary penthouse near the Art Museum. The panoramic views and open floor plan are fantastic. The location is perfect for restaurants, but it's not in the heart of the city. It rents for $235 a night.

And, finally they get a look at a home with some rich history and wonderful architectural design in the middle of the city. It rents for $650 a night.
