Vacation Rentals in Breckenridge, Colorado
Brian and Andrea Polizzi are in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in the town of Breckenridge, Colorado, searching for a large vacation rental to accommodate five couples for a three-week ski vacation. They'll tour three spacious and diverse properties near the slopes. Will the lure of luxury or economy work best for the group?
Breckenridge's rich history is full of gold finds and mining, exploration and adventure, brothels and saloons, booms and busts. Founded in 1859 by a small group of prospectors, the town's Gold Rush brought droves of settlers seeking their fortunes. Though not all found gold, each discovered the beauty of the Ten Mile Range and the bounty of the landscape.
Here are the rental properties that Brian and Andrea toured are in Breckenridge, Colorado. They are searching for a large house to rent that can accommodate five couples with a budget of $3,000 to $4,000 per couple.
Rental #1 - CHIL House: It's a new construction home that is 5,600 square feet. It has six bedrooms, vaulted ceilings and fine woodwork. And, it's very close to Peak 8 and has access to a shuttle service. The price is $27,500 for three weeks.
Rental #2 - Mountain Comfort Haus: It's a two-story Victorian home with four bedrooms and two and a half baths right in the heart of the downtown area. The price is $7,150 for three weeks.
Rental #3 - Swan River House: It's a five-bedroom log cabin four miles from town with fantastic views. The price is $13,500 for three weeks.

Some people suffer from headaches at high altitudes. They are usually brought on by dehydration. When you are headed to a high altitude destination you should drink extra water and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours.
