A baby's life is simple: eat, sleep, cry, eat, sleep, cry -- and so on. We may have a lot more going on in our lives -- and hopefully don't cry as much! -- but that's how often we should be eating too.

Here is a look at how a day's worth of food is laid out:

7 AM

3 egg whites + 1 whole egg, 1/3 cup dry oats; 1/4 cup mixed berries; 2 tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 tbsp coconut oil OR Colon-Friendly Muesli OR Multigrain Waffles with Raspberry Sauce; 1 cup hot water with lemon slice; 1 cup black coffee; 1 L water

10AM

2 tbsp all-natural nut butter; 1 apple; green tea; 500 ml water

1PM

5 oz water-packed tuna OR Tosca's Keep It Tight Tilapia over 2 cups spinach leaves, 1 grated carrot, 1/2 chopped bell pepper and 1 tomato; dressed with 1 tbsp avocado oil, 2 tbsp lemon juice; 2 tbsp ground flaxseed; 500 ml water

Kiwi Coconut Citrus Smoothie

Butternut Squash, Portobello Mushroom, Caramelized Onion and Hazelnut Pizza OR Tri-Color Pasta with Tuna, Spinach and Artichoke Hearts OR 5 oz grilled salmon; 1/2 baked sweet potato topped with chopped chives and 1 tbsp pumpkin oil; 11/2 cups steamed mixed vegetables]; 500 ml water; 1 cup tea
