Mixing Woods In One Room
Many people are afraid to mix different types of wood in the same room. But as Andrika Lawren shows us, mixing woods the right way makes for a strong, visually-stimulating setting.
1. Add contrast to your room by including chairs that differ in style and wood type from your table.
2. Don't be too matchy matchy, but think of the big picture of your room aesthetically.
3. Wood pieces that appear intentionally weathered serve as great conversation pieces.
4. Find one element to unify the room. For example, a carpet that matches accessories and upholstery.
