Sometimes we look at trends and think they're out of our age range. Well, here's proof that you can wear any style and still be age appropriate.
Stylist Ashley Allen put some mom/daughter duos to the challenge, dressing them both in trends of the season. Here are her tips, so you can do it, too!

LEOPARD
- Daughter - leopard cocktail dress with a pop of turquoise
- Mom - Leopard on the bottom with cobalt shirt and orange sweater ("three piece rule" = three pieces look better than two)
- Daughter - leather vest and pencil skirt with leather detailing, leather clutch
- Mom - casual leather look with leather-inspired jeans and riding boots, shirt with leather detailing (mixing different colors/textures of leathers is acceptable!)
- Daughter - gold lace cocktail dress with suede pumps and snake skin clutch
- Mom - lace detailing on a men's-inspired tuxedo look paired with a red pump
- Daughter - metallic tweed mini skirt with peplum top
- Mom - Navy, longer tweed skirt, feminine top and leather jacket
- Daughter - Mixed-print pleated dress, hounds tooth blazer, riding boot and bag
- Mom - Make sure pleats are loose, flowy and feminine, maybe in a dress
