One-in-Two Beauty Products

We've heard of two-in-one beauty products, but what's the point of a one-in-two product?

"One of the newest trends that we're seeing in the beauty world is a new technology of packaging. Basically, what hair care and skincare companies have figured out is, if they can put different active ingredients in two different chambers then they can be a lot more effective. The reason for that is, in some cases, certain active ingredients cannot be housed together or they break each other down," explains Rachel Gower, owner of The Upper Hand Salon.

Here are a few of her favorites dual chambered, double-duty products:

Clarins - Double Serum Generation 6 (about $95)
Clarins - HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase (about $55)

Jan Marini - Age Intervention Duality (about $95)

Kerastase - Fibre Architecte (about $40)
Kerastase - Fusio-Dose treatment (about $40)

LaRoche-Posay - Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid (about $30)

L'Oreal RevitaLift Double Lifting (about $11)

Nexxus Dualiste Moisture Control and Protection shampoo/conditioner (about $14 each)
