- Never share mascara.
- Buy a new tube after an eye infection.
- Mascara should only last about eight weeks.
- Never pump your mascara wand in and out of the tube. It forces air inside and causes clumps and drying.
- Always wear dark brown or black for impact. Yes, even blondes!
- Coat every single lash by zig-zaging the wand horizontally along your lashes as you move away from your eye.
- If you don't have an eyelash curler, just push your lashes up and in toward your eyelid after you apply mascara for a curled effect.
- For thicker, longer lashes, try a primer before applying mascara.
- When removing mascara, DO NOT pull at your eyes!
- Make-up artist secret: use baby wash as make-up remover.
