Get Fashion Magazine Looks At Thrift Store Prices

Want that hot look you saw in a magazine or online, but don't want to spend the big bucks? Two thrift store divas show you how to replicate that amazing expensive look for less.

Second-hand store mavens Jen and Pippa, or Too Cheap Blondes, make a living out of putting outfits together on the cheap. Their main inspiration? Pinterest!

"I love to put my outfits together from Pinterest because you see all these great, expensive looks and I just don't want to spend that kind of money for, especially trendy looks," says Jen.

So, this dynamic duo is sharing their secrets to stylish steals at Goodwill:
  • When you find a picture of a look you love, odds are you're not going to find those exact same pieces in a thrift store. So, look for those same patterns in different pieces.
  • If an outfit has sparkle from sequins, for example, don't hesitate to add sparkle somewhere else instead.
  • If you can't find what you're looking in the women's department, try looking in the men's section. You're going to save either way.
  • When you find a piece that you love for a particular outfit, try to find a few other ways you can wear it.
  • If you find something you really like while shopping and you don't know how to style it, use your phone to search for ideas on the web and on
