Eat Your Way Gorgeous

Beauty isn't just on the outside. Sometimes it's what you put inside that really counts!

Registered Dietician Molly Gee says there are three things that rob you of your beauty -- smoking, the sun, and your birthday -- but she says, there are plenty of things you can eat to fight Father Time, too.
  • Fine lines and dry skin? Pick berries and grapes, the more colorful, the better.
  • Want dessert? Dark chocolate with at least 60% cocoa is the healthiest choice.
  • Dry, thinning hair? Green tea and zinc-rich foods like pumpkin seeds and yogurt help restore healthy follicles.
  • Plain yogurt fights bad breath, premenstrual headaches and cramping.
  • Kefir is a good probiotic for the digestive tract.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids in fish, nuts and seeds fight acne, splitting nails, inflammation and heart disease.
  • Beta-carotene rich foods like sweet potatoes can make eyes sparkle and skin glow by helping your body produce vitamin A.
  • Watermelon is a great snack with few calories and high water content to keep your skin and body hydrated.
