Quick and Easy Salsa

  • 1 can Mexican stewed tomatoes
  • 1 bunch green onions, white parts only
  • 1 bunch cilantro, trimmed
  • 2 yellow chiles
  • Ground cumin to taste
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • Pinch of kosher salt and freshly ground pepper


In a small saucepan, boil the yellow chiles in water until soft or about 10 minutes. Cool and cut off the stems and add chiles to your blender or food processor. Next add the rest of the ingredients to the blender and puree until smooth.

Serve salsa with chips or drizzle over tacos and burritos.
