Here is a secret to cutting calories when you are baking... if a recipe calls for oil, substitute it with apple sauce.

If a recipe calls for a 1/2 cup of oil, which is 960 calories, substitute it with a 1/2 cup of apple sauce, which is only 50 calories. No one will taste the difference and you will love it!
