Web Exclusive: Hanging Heavy Objects

Lisa Quinn has some tips for hanging heavy objects.

Tips:
  • Using Heavy Duty Anchors to Secure Heavy Objects to Walls
  • Drill a hole into the wall
  • Insert the heavy duty anchor - Anchors come in different styles and sizes. Ask for help from your local hardware store. Depending on the type of anchor you choose, the best way to use them can differ. You can use them to secure everything from mirrors to clocks and more. Assume the anchor will hold 1/4 of their stated load without any problem.
