  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon whipped butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 slice Havarti cheese
  • 1 slice Provolone cheese
  • 1/4 pound chicken, sliced or shredded
  • 1 tablespoon honey mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup Iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 3 slices tomato
  • 5 slices pickle


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

To prepare Ryan's version of Ike's Dirty Sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, dijon mustard, whipped butter and seasonings until well combined. . Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

To prepare the sandwich, spread an even layer of the dirty sauce on one insides of bread top and bottom. Layer both cheeses on bottom slice of bread. Place chicken on wax paper on a baking sheet and drizzle honey mustard over. Place both pieces of bread and chicken in oven and toast for 3 minutes or until cheese is completely melted. Spread another layer of the dirty sauce on the top of the previous layer of the dirty sauce and flip chicken onto the bread with melted cheese. Evenly spread lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, and place top of bread on top.
