Chef Ryan Scott Cooks With Brother
After Chef Ryan Scott comes up with his new restaurant menus, he heats up the grill and gets cooking with his brother Steven. They make their famous beer can chicken with a spicy rub and grilled potato salad.
Ryan arrives at his Market and Rye restaurant in the West Portal neighborhood to check out his sous chef Joe's new fall salad menu. Ryan gives his feedback to an autumn couscous salad, a pea and carrot salad with soba noodles, and Asian pear waldorf salad.
After a long day at work, Ryan unwinds back at home with his younger brother, Steven. They enjoy a rare day together by grilling beer can chicken with their 'go-to' rub. When the chicken is done, they prepare a lime compound butter that adds the perfect touch to the chicken.
Ryan reveals how to make a killer grilled potato salad and a no-mess method for cooking brussels sprouts on the grill.
After Ryan and Steven are done grilling, they pack up their meal and head to one of San Francisco's most iconic parks -- The Palace of Fine Arts. After their meal, the brothers partake in a little friendly rivalry at a bowling alley.
