A Pumpkin Challenge
Before Ryan starts the cook-off, he heads to a local pumpkin patch in order to get inspired. Clancy's Pumpkin Patch in San Francisco has been around for years and has pumpkins in all shapes and sizes.
For the pumpkin cook-off, Ryan makes his kabocha squash and ricotta cheese bruschetta. Lia prepares pumpkin curry, a hot and spicy sauce that can be used on chicken or vegetables.
With the pumpkin cook-off in full swing, Ryan and Lia try to impress one another with pumpkin dishes with a sweet twist. Ryan makes his maple sugar pumpkin turnovers and Lia cooks her pumpkin spice oatmeal with toasted pecans.
