Are you tired of battling weeds and pests in your yard with harsh chemicals? Check out solutions for outdoor problems that are all natural.
Help your lawn and plants look better on a dime:
Brown Grass: Sprinkle Epsom salts over the browning part of your lawn. Cover with a nice layer of water to soak in. Bruce says the magnesium in the Epsom salts will revive the lawn in a matter of days.
Revive Pepper Plants: Use matches. Place matches face down into the potted plant. The sulfur in the match will give your plant new life.
Revive Roses: Take crunched up egg shells and mix with water in an empty spray bottle. Spray mixture on roses to help bring them back to life!
Revive Houseplants: Crush a clove of garlic and mix with 2 cups of water. Shake it up and spray on your diseased plant. There will be no smell.
Getting Rid of Weeds: Sprinkle baking soda on weeds. Another cheap way to get rid of weeds is to use straight vinegar. Bruce says spraying vinegar on the weeds will kill the weeds and nothing else.
Protect your plants from pests:
