Your mouthwash may be able to do a lot more than just kill bad breath causing bacteria in your mouth. One of the main ingredients in mouthwash is alcohol and alcohol is a great antiseptic.
1. NAIL FUNGUS REMOVER:
Make a 50/50 solution of mouthwash and vinegar. Apply to the affected area 2-3 times a day.
2. ATHLETE'S FOOT:
Soak a cotton ball in mouthwash and apply twice daily.
3. FACIAL ASTRINGENT:
Apply mouthwash to a cotton ball and wipe on face. Rinse with water.
4. DANDRUFF TREATMENT:
Dab on affected areas with cotton ball or rinse hair with a 50/50 mixture of mouthwash and water.
In a pinch wipe a cotton ball soaked with mouthwash under your arms.
6. HAND SANITIZER:
Fill a spray bottle with mouthwash and spray on anytime.
7. MAKE FRESH FLOWERS LAST:
Fill vase with a mixture of two tablespoons of mouthwash per gallon of water. It kills the bacteria that accelerate decomposition.
8. TOILET BOWL CLEANER:
Pour one cup of mouthwash into the toilet and let it sit for 30 minutes. Clean toilet with brush and flush.
9. TOOTHBRUSH CLEANER:
Rinse or dunk toothbrush into mouthwash before using to kill bacteria.
10. GLASS CLEANER:
Apply mouthwash to a damp cloth and wipe glass surfaces. (We noticed this leaves streaks)
Rub mouthwash on affected area. It may help reduce the appearance of the bruise.
POISON IVY TREATMENT:
Apply mouthwash to area and it can relieve itching and inflammation.
Apply mouthwash twice daily.
Soaking feet in a mixture of mouthwash and water can refresh and soften them.
Mouthwash can obviously kill garlic odor in your mouth, but it can also remove the smell from your hands. Just pour on and let air dry.
Adding one cup to the regular cycle of a full load of laundry can gill bacteria in your clothes.
A mixture of 25% mouthwash and 75% water sprayed onto your plant leaves can prevent fungus and mildew. You should only do it once a week or less.
