Dr. Akash Bhagat says if you suffered a sports injury or have severe stomach pains -- for example -- this is the place to go.
"We are able to diagnose almost any medical or trauma related condition," said Dr Bhagat.
Insurance plans differ on how emergency center visits are handled. Most centers will work with you on the bill.
"The billing company does offer discounts and payment plans and things like that. So there is cost saving that goes along with it as well," said Dr Bhagat.
But, the biggest thing you are saving is time. You've heard the horror stories of waiting for hours in the hospital E.R.
"I don't think at our center we have more than a 15 to 20 minute wait time," said Dr. Bhagat.
And, Dr. Bhagat points out, most of these types of clinics are in neighborhoods, so they are more convenient.
"I think there is a lot of value to being very close and having good parking that some other places are not able to offer," said Dr. Bhagat.
