If you love lip gloss and balms but hate paying the expensive price tag, why not make your own! Tamika Fletcher, Co-Owner of Natural Resources Salon says it's very easy and inexpensive to do and has the added bonus of knowing exactly what you're putting on your skin.

3 tbsp. Cocoa butter
4-5 chocolate chips
I capsule of vitamin E

HONEY LIP BALM
What you'll need:
3 teaspoons grated unbleached beeswax
5 teaspoons carrier oil (sunflower, castor, or jojoba or coconut oil)
6 or 7 drops essential oil peppermint or 1 teaspoon honey
Melt the beeswax and carrier oil together in the top of a double boiler or microwave stirring to combine. Remove from heat, add honey and essential oil. Mix thoroughly so the honey does not clump.
