DIY Gourmet Soap

Specialty soap can cost upwards of $20 in the store, but making them yourself can save you a lot of money. These DIY recipes will cost you $3 or less per bar!

Tamika Fletcher, co-owner of Natural Resources Salon and an expert in homemade products, shares a few soap recipes: These are great soaps that you could put in your guest bathroom or they make great gifts or party favors for a shower. Decorate the soap with newspaper, craft paper, white tissue paper, twine or lace.

Be creative with molds! You can use ice trays, rubber muffin pans, and plastic food containers or find creative molds at craft stores or online soap suppliers.
